Who we are
YieldPath is farm record-keeping software operated by Asymmetric Applications Group, Inc. (“we” or “us”). This policy explains what information YieldPath collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to mark.hope@asymmetric.pro.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and the organizations you belong to and your role in each.
- Operation records you enter: farms, fields, crops, plantings, activities, harvests, inventory, lots, certifications, trading partners, prices, sales orders, shipments, and invoices.
- Files you upload, such as certificates, certificates of analysis, and purchase orders.
- Accounting data from QuickBooks Online, if you connect it (see the next section).
- Technical data needed to run the service: sign-in session cookies, server logs, and error reports.
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell your information.
QuickBooks Online
An owner or admin of an organization can connect a QuickBooks Online company. When connected, YieldPath reads the company name, customers, items, classes, departments, invoices, and payments in that company, so you can match your YieldPath records to them and see invoice balances and payment status.
At your request, YieldPath creates invoices in that company, attaches your documents (such as certificates of analysis) to them, and asks QuickBooks to email them to your customer. YieldPath does not create or change accounts, items, classes, customers, or payment terms in QuickBooks.
The access tokens Intuit issues are stored encrypted and are used only by our servers. You can disconnect at any time from Settings in YieldPath or from within QuickBooks. Disconnecting deletes the stored tokens. Invoice numbers, totals, and balances already copied into YieldPath remain part of your records.
How we use information
- To provide YieldPath: store your records, run the screens and reports you use, and carry out actions you ask for.
- To send the email the service needs, such as account confirmations, invitations, password resets, and a weekly summary of your operation.
- To keep the service secure and working, including investigating errors and misuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Your records are visible only to members of your organization. We use these service providers to run YieldPath, and each handles data only on our instructions:
- Supabase: database, sign-in, and file storage, hosted in the United States.
- Vercel: application hosting.
- Resend: email delivery.
- Sentry: error monitoring. The contents of your records and any credentials are removed from error reports before they are sent.
- Intuit: QuickBooks Online, only if you connect it.
We may disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or of us. If YieldPath is sold or transferred, your information may transfer with it under this policy.
Security
Each organization's records are separated at the database level, so one organization cannot read another's. Data travels over encrypted connections, and credentials for connected services are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected organizations promptly if a breach exposes their data.
Retention and deletion
We keep your records while your organization's account is active. After an account closes, an owner can ask for an export of the organization's records, and we will delete them within 90 days of a written request, except where the law requires us to keep something longer.
Your choices
You can view and correct your records in YieldPath. To ask for a copy of your personal information, a correction you cannot make yourself, or deletion, email mark.hope@asymmetric.pro. We answer within 30 days.
Children
YieldPath is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell organization owners by email before the change takes effect.
